Welcome to Neighbors Neighboring, the podcast where two back-patio philosophers turn the everyday absurdities of suburban life into laugh-out-loud storytelling. This podcast is a reminder of how important it is to connect - not just online, but in real life. Check in on a neighbor, share a cup of coffee…maybe you'll find a new best friend in the process. It happens - this pod is living proof.

  • Ep 27 - Suburban Dad Patrol: Chasing Sonic Supervillains
    Mar 24 2026

Grab your coffee and settle in — this episode introduces the Suburban Dad Patrol, two neighbors on a mission to keep the block safe, silly, and surprisingly tender.

Expect loud bass tales, low-speed stakeouts, and a lot of laughter, all wrapped in genuine neighborhood care. It’s like hearing your funniest, kindest friends trade war stories over the fence.

    Mar 17 2026

This week on Neighbors Neighboring, Amber and Jen unpack the sacred rules of grocery-store etiquette, reflect on the new-cat chaos, and decide whether the bedroom is a place to embrace hotel vibes at home or basic blankets. Frank and absurdly relatable as always. Grab a coffee and settle in for the snark ;)

  • Ep 25 - Sidewalk Sightings, Award Night Antics & Parker the Rescue Cat
    Mar 10 2026

Hey friend — Amber just got back from the Audies in NYC and has nonstop stories: dressing-room fails, purple compression socks, hilarious sidewalk sightings, and a rescue cat named Parker who’s already stealing hearts. Come hang — it feels like we’re chatting over coffee (or a bagel) about all the best small-life moments.

There’s drama, there’s cozy cat content, and a few ridiculous observations you’ll laugh about. Trust me, you’ll want to stick around for Parker’s Instagram updates.

I am editing my original review now that I have listened to more episodes and I am enjoying it. I first listened to the first half of episode 7 because it popped up while I was driving. They introduce this person Traci, and they make it sound like they talked a lot about her in previous episodes, so I decided to start with the first episode when I got back in the car. Earlier episodes don’t really help me with Traci but the 7th episode was a bit more interesting in that it did give maybe some good ideas for neighborhood events. The most recent episode I listened to was the one with the travel agent and that was a great one to understand how travel agents can help with trips, so I am now enjoying listening to this podcast on my commute.

It grew on me!
