Get to know Wendy Tsang, a passionate artist originally from Hong Kong and now a Singaporean citizen. Wendy graduated with a Bachelors in Fine Arts from New York in 1988. Currently working as a graphic designer and photographer in Singapore, she reignited her love for painting in 2019. In 2022, her life-sized abstract acrylic paintings were showcased at The Education University of Hong Kong and more exhibitions in Singapore. In 2023, her work was proudly exhibited at Expometro Barcelona in the Art Tunnel of the Passeig de Gràcia metro station.
At the SUPERWOMAN art exhibition at Millenia Walk (Presented by SOUND OF ART), each artwork by Wendy Tsang features a single Chinese character that is fluid, expressive and artistic - resulting in a contemporary painting, and yet each artwork does not compromise on the richness of the Chinese language and heritage. On this podcast, Simon Lim puts the spotlight on Sunita Sue Leng, author of "The Unlikely Motherhood of Shaleni May". The protagonist in Sunita's debut novel is Shaleni who becomes a mum for the first time - in her 40s.
The novel is funny, insightful, heartwarming and vivid.
