Cheer and Elisa are two curious people, especially when it comes to the uncertainty of fate.

As typical Gen Z kids, our campus lives collided with a pandemic, and our job searches collided with AI. Our lives seem to be constantly hit by uncertainty. To make sense of things, you have to open the black box, meet more interesting people, and see more sides of the narrative.

As Gen Z with so much external stimulus and distractions, this isn’t an easy age to navigate, but we don’t want to just go with the flow blindly, embrace everything without questioning the different dimensions of it. So. welcome to the podcast: Not a Stupidogenic Age.

Where it all began: the AI revolution swept through like a storm (at least it felt like it for people without the technical backgrounds). On a ordinary Sunday brunch, Cheer and I were sharing how we use AI to study, tell our fortunes, plan our diets and workouts… and mid-conversation, we realised AI has already woven itself so deeply into our lives, yet we know so little about it. How far has AI come, and where is it headed next?

So we wanted to find people to talk to from university professors working across AI disciplines, experts across their fields and entrepreneurs, because we recognise everyone's voices matter and, those who might be able to share perspectives on our core purposes:

  1. What kind of impact has AI had on your field. For better or for worse? How?
  2. For young people who want to enter this industry, what does the future of AI look like in this space?
  3. Looking back on your remarkable life journey (so far), what have you come to understand?

So… let’s sit down together for a truly rich and honest conversation.
