Welcome to the brand new segment of the Official Redbird Rants podcast called Extra Innings in which we hope to be able to interview various St. Louis media members about the St. Louis Cardinals throughout the year.

Our very own, Gene Bonds, or @crashstl on Twitter, came up with the idea and his new love for podcasting has brought us to this very unique and awesome opportunity.

The very first episode of Extra Innings will air LIVE tonight through BlogTalkRadio. Join co-editors Tito Rivera and Dr. Michael Miles, alongside contributor Gene Bonds, from 7:00pm to 8:30pm CT.

As for our first guest, we are excited to have on the show Ben Hochman of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Ben will be on the air with us from 7-7:30ish, answering our questions about the upcoming season for the St. Louis Cardinals and more.
