Hosanna to the King | John 12:12–19

    Series: Stand Alone Sermon

    Pastor: Pastor Patrick Dailey

    Sunday Morning

    Date: 29th March 2026

    Passage: John 12:12-19

    -------------------

Pastor Patrick Dailey preaches “Hosanna to the King” from John 12:12–19: a standalone Palm Sunday sermon at Ontario Community Church in Ontario Oregon.

John’s Gospel gives us the one detail no other account does: Lazarus is there. The man Jesus raised from the dead is walking beside Him into Jerusalem. The crowd hears about it and floods the street with palm branches, crying Hosanna, “Save us, we pray.” On the surface they wanted the miracle-worker. But deeper, they were asking for salvation without knowing the weight of their own prayer. The Pharisees panicked, they made plans to kill Lazarus, to destroy the evidence rather than submit to the King. And the disciples? They didn’t understand any of it until after the resurrection. They needed Easter to understand Palm Sunday.

This sermon is the first of three for Holy Week: Palm Sunday, Good Friday, and Easter.

    Sunday Morning

    Date: 22nd March 2026

    Passage: Revelation 5:1-14

    -------------------

Pastor Patrick Dailey preaches “Weep No More” from Revelation 5:1–14.

This is week 12 of Thy Will Be Done, our 42-week series through Revelation.

A scroll appears in God’s right hand, sealed with seven seals. No one is worthy to open it.

John weeps loudly and his tears are not sentimental; they are theological.

A sealed scroll means history has no resolution.

Then a Lamb appears, standing as though slain, and takes it from the hand of God. This is the hinge of the entire book.

    -------------------

Welcome to Ontario Community Church's Sermon Podcast. Pastor Patrick Dailey preaches from Revelation 4:1–11: "HOLY, HOLY, HOLY — The Throne Room of God." from the Thy Will Be Done Revelation series.

After the seven churches, the scene shifts to something greater. A door stands open. John is called up. The throne room of God is revealed — not as a future event, but as an eternal present reality. Three OT witnesses confirm it. Three applications demand a response.

May God open your eyes to what is eternally true.
