Episode 7 – Over-Caffeinated Dads

Episode 7 is packed with caffeine-fueled conversations, good food, and plenty of dad-level opinions. This week we introduce a brand-new segment, dig into some outdoor gear talk, and of course nerd out about off-road rigs.

First up, we debut our new segment Local Locale, where we spotlight local spots worth checking out. For our first feature we grabbed some food from Burrito Beast and put it to the test. We talk about the menu, what we ordered, and whether it lives up to the hype. If you’re in Hobbs and looking for a place to grab a solid burrito, you’ll definitely want to hear our thoughts.

Next, we head to the outdoors in our segment The Bivouac. Whether you’re hiking, camping, overlanding, or just spending a lot of time outside, a good pair of boots makes all the difference. We break down some of our favorite boots for outdoor use, what we look for in durability and comfort, and why the right footwear can make or break your trip.

Finally, we pop the hood in Under the Hood, where we talk about the off-road rigs we drive and the ones we dream about owning someday. From capable trail builds to future wish-list rigs, we share what we love about them and what makes a great off-road vehicle in our eyes.

Next up is Triggered, where we get into one of our favorite topics—dream guns. If you could own any firearm you wanted, no limits, what would you pick? Classic? Tactical? Something straight out of an action movie? Each of us reveals our personal top pick and the reasons behind it.

Then we introduce a brand-new segment called Threads. This one’s all about the shirts we actually like to wear. From comfort and durability to designs and brands we keep going back to, we share some of our favorite shirt brands and what makes them worth grabbing for your wardrobe.

And of course, we wrap things up with our usual segment: What’s in Your Cup?
This episode’s fuel of choice: NOS Energy Drinks. Because when you’re talking conspiracies, dream gear, and dad life… caffeine is mandatory.

Over-Caffeinated Dads – Episode 5 is here, and we’re running on strong coffee and strong opinions.
