This week on Pass, Pirate, Pay, Ken Franco and the gang are stranded far from civilization with nothing but sand, suspicion, and a growing urge to strangle their fellow castaways.

We’re diving into desert island survival movies where the real danger isn’t the island — it’s the other guy. First up is the WWII odd-couple standoff Hell in the Pacific, where an American pilot and a Japanese officer find themselves marooned together with a war still raging between them. Then it’s the unlikely interstellar buddy drama Enemy Mine, where a human and an alien soldier crash-land on a hostile planet and discover that cooperation might be the only way off the rock. Finally, the guys check out Send Help, a modern take on the “two people stuck together and losing their minds” formula.
