Mahealani held the title of Miss Aloha Hula in 2010, directs a hula studio (hālau) called Kilohana in Tokyo, and is the director and producer of the Hawaiian-centered luau, Na Lei Aloha at the Hyatt Regency in Waikiki. Mahealani is a wealth of knowledge on all things Hawaiian culture and speaks to the deep meaning of hula in the Hawaiian islands.
