Stitching together three films, which were adapting the first part of a lengthy light novel series, Koyomi Vamp tries to tell the story of Araragi and his vampire compadre, Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade. Parting is such sweet sorrow that I shall podcast till it be morrow. In this episode, Jae decided to inject a little bit of class into what has been an admittedly silly cycle by suggesting the group watches Baz Luhrmann's William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet. In what was undeniably a cultural flash point of the 90s, Luhrmann adapted the classic play into a modern setting in what could only be described as a frantic cyclone of camp.
