A hodgepodge episode centered around the topic of the recent resurgence of anti-Catholicism, especially on the American Right, with a focus on the historical roots of these biases. First, a discussion with Adam from Incarnational Inkwell about the X/Twitter post promoted by Senator Ted Cruz outlining a vast conspiracy theory equating historical Catholic doctrines with a plan to spread antisemitism and undermine political Evangelicalism. Next, a clip from an older talk explaining the controversy surrounding the phrase "Christ is King".
