It's pop culture queen of the month where we feature an iconic woman owning the spotlight and crown her queen! But first we're yapping about potty training, women's history month, and our 6 degrees of separation from a new RHONY housewife. Then we need to talk about Scott Galloway's latest remarks on paternity leave and the role of fathers in an newborn's life. We're sharing our thoughts on Scott's original remarks in an interview he conducted on his podcast with Derek Thompson and his response to the backlash. Next, we're crowning Margaret Atwood as this month's PCQ and Hollis is leading the discussion on her background, career as an author, poet, and feminist figure, and controversies surrounding a incident involving SA allegations against one of her former colleagues (Trigger Warning there is light discussion around the SA allegations with very little to no detail). She is an extremely smart and accomplished woman who has had a huge impact on pop culture most notably with her book turned hit Hulu series The Handmaid's Tale. She has solidified herself, perhaps unwillingly, as a divisive feminist figure with a body of work featuring female protagonists and encompassing themes around gender roles, identity, agency, and sexual and power politics. She was such an interesting person to learn about and we hope you enjoy learning about her as much as we did! We're wrapping today's episode up with a quick she's in the comments segment and our weekly grapes and gripes! Thanks for being here weed whackers!

Happy Hump Day Whackers and welcome back to another episode of She's in the Weeds! Today is a very special episode as we are featuring our first ever guest! We are so excited and proud to introduce our friend, fitness coach, and strength trainer Katie Shedd! She's joining us for the entire episode as we yap about small batch artisanal sourdough vs big bread, the year of the fire horse, Brandi Glanville's long awaited answer to her health problems and facial disfiguration, and a TikTok video regarding Sydney Sweeney and the larger conversation about male attention as currency in which Sam shares a vulnerable, and as it turns out very relatable, personal story. Then it's time to get in the weeds with all things Katie and her impressive background and career as a fitness coach and strength trainer. We're diving into Katie's background and trajectory as a trainer, our own personal fitness journeys, the benefits of strength training for women, how we're approaching fitness with our children, strength training for empowerment and agency, pre and postnatal fitness, healthcare for women, and how we're personally working towards shifting the narrative from fitness for aesthetics to fitness for longevity. We're really proud of this one and we hope you enjoy it. Happy Wednesday Weed Whackers! Welcome back to another episode of She's in the Weeds!

Sam's fallen victim to the kindergarten cesspool and lost her voice and Hollis is en route to beautiful Mexico for a long overdue vacation so join us as we venture down podcast memory lane.

February 2026 marked one year since we had our very first psychic reading so we thought it would be fun to release the episode again for anyone who missed it or who might not remember. We'll be sharing an update on the reading and where the psychic's predictions stand today on the March 18th episode. (The psychic may indeed have a gift so be sure to tune in to the update.) In last year's episode we're also sharing tales from the Tooth Fairy, revisiting our new year's resolutions, reminiscing about Valentine's Days past, and wondering what happened to the Chipmunk Adventure movie. As always we wrap it up with gripes about superfluous jibber jabber and forever chemicals and grapes to great performances and lunchtime delights.

We'll be back on the mics next week with an exciting episode featuring our very first ever GUEST! We had so much recording the episode and we think you're going to love it!

    See you in the weeds!

Happy Wednesday Weed Whackers and welcome back! We've got a fun and perhaps educational episode for you today. First up, we're yapping about meeting our fans in the wild, concert going, and Irish goodbyes. Next, you know we have to talk a little bit about the files. Feel free to skip ahead if you've reached your file consumption limit. It's hard to even know what to say or what to focus on but one thing we are definitely interested in following is the female response to all of this. So far we've seen Melinda Gates speaking out publicly regarding her former husband and we're staying tuned to see how many, if any, will follow suit. Moving on, we're sharing our thoughts on Alex Honnold's live broadcast free climb and we get into a little mix up about base jumping and free basing. (we don't recommend either.) Next up, we're wondering why 90s kids movies were hell bent on inflicting emotional turmoil on an entire generation and then we're diving into a quick reality check segment to discuss the latest Bravo happenings. We're dishing on Bronwyn and Todd's split, the Southern Charm core 4 birthday dinner, and Kyle and Mauricio's tour of their former home. Then it's time to get in the weeds with a pop culture archives review of Fast Time's at Ridgemont High. We've got some fun facts about the movie (which you may already know but we just learned for the first time) and then we're breaking down the characters and scenes to discuss how the film represented the teen culture of that time. As always we wrap it up with grapes to practical gadgets and elementary school nostalgia and gripes about domestic labor and parking woes. See you in the weeds!

Happy Hump Day Weed Whackers and welcome back to another episode of She's in the Weeds!

FWIW: Somehow our input source defaulted to our computer mics so it's not our best audio. It may not be noticeable to all listeners but we take quality seriously so we apologize if it's less than ideal.

Today we're yapping about snowpocalypse, the state of the country, therapy, and the ultimate form of self care. Next Sam's taking umbrage with HBO and their GOT collaborations. If you have seen A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms you likely know what we are talking about. Have they gone too far or are we just getting old? Let us know your thoughts! Next up we've got a quick circle back to the posh family feud. It's taken a dark turn and we're wondering if all that money and fame is worth so much family turmoil. Then we're sharing some thoughts on the upcoming Oscars and diving into a she's in the comments segment. Next up is a long overdue reality check to discuss the latest Bravo happenings. We're catching up on the RHSLC reunion, Southern Charm, and Beverly Hills. Then it's time to get in the weeds and this week we're talking about the new Netflix true crime documentary, Kidnapped: Elizabeth Smart. We're recapping the events of the kidnapping and her 9 month long captivity as well as her remarkable healing and advocacy journey since her escape. As always we're wrapping it up with gripes about cold weather sensitivities and people's cluelessness and grapes to childhood nostalgia and superior snacking. See you in the weeds!
