    Psalm 121

    I try to pray

But the words aren't coming out the way they used to

Did I lose my faith? God do I still trust You?

    I try to worship

But when I lift my hands it all just feels so empty

Is it the heavy of the world? Or is it just me?

Though I've sung a thousand times

You're perfect and You'll never leave my side

    Can I be honest?

I just wanna know that You still got this

When all I'm holding onto is a promise

God, You promised that You'll never leave me

When I'm scared of the dark, You're right there with me

Your kindness never fails, it's always reaching after me

But right now, God, all I need

    Is to be honest

    Oh, I’ve heard stories

Of you showing up when it was least expected

Every time you prove your timing always perfect

And the wait was worth it

And again and again and again

    See your power coming through

You bring life to what is dead

No, there’s nothing You can’t do

I believe you did it then

So won’t You do it now?

    Can I be honest?

I just wanna know that You still got this

When all I'm holding onto is a promise..

From Where Does My Help Come?

    Psalm 121:1-2

My Help Comes from the Lord

    Psalm 121:3-4

    1 Kings 18:27

    1 Kings 18:36

    Psalm 121:5

    Psalm 121:6-8

All: I will raise my eyes to the mountains; from where will my help come? My help comes from the Lord.

Lead: He will not allow your foot to slip; He who watches over you will not slumber. Behold, He who watches over all His people will neither slumber nor sleep.

All: My help comes from the Lord.

Leader: The Lord is your protector; the Lord is your shade on your right hand.

All: My help comes from the Lord.

Leader: The sun will not beat down on you by day, Nor the moon by night. The Lord will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul.

All: My help comes from the Lord.

Leader: The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in from this time and forever. Amen

“The tendency of the sciences has long been an increasing proclivity to separation and dismemberment …The mathematician turns away from the chemist; the chemist from the naturalist; and thus science, even mere physical science, loses all traces of unity.” -William Whewell

“There is a difference between a perfect human life lived on earth and a personal life with God lived on earth; the former grasps for that which it reaches, the latter grasp for that which it can never reach. The former chains us to the world by its very completeness; the latter cause us to fling ourselves unperplexed to God.” – Oswald Chambers
