Many Christians struggle with money because they follow the American cycle of consume, lack, and fear rather than God's way. The typical approach leads to anxiety and a scarcity mindset, while God calls us to give first and trust His provision. Jesus warns against greed in the parable of the rich fool, who stored up wealth for himself instead of being rich toward God. God blesses us not primarily to increase our standard of living, but our standard of giving. True financial freedom comes from living below our means, creating a budget, and actively looking for ways to meet others' needs through generous giving.
