In 2014 Irish rockers U2 released their 13th studio album Songs of Innocence, an album that cost Apple Inc. an estimated $100 Million. Most people know it for the disastrous fall out post release, including a very iconic tweet from Tyler The Creator, but how did we get from a band unhappy with their place in the industry to the equivalent of as someone put it so eloquently, musical junk mail?
