This is a brief introduction to the ancient tribe(s) that lived where we dwell now. The Romans called them the Durotriges and this is a brief timeline snapshot of the Rise and Fall and partial ressurection of that tribe. This will give you an indication of places we will visit later this year.

The follow on podcast from this will be some of TRB's work in his more specialised field as a poet. This will be aired next wednesday.

Today we discuss some of the historical crafts of Dorset, some which started prior to the Roman invasion and another that helped change the course of history worldwide.
