  • S5 Ep102: Tanya Taylor, Fashion Designer & Amy Guzzi, Style Creator LIVE on Building in Fashion in Their 20’s to Now Evolving and Sustaining in Motherhood
    Mar 24 2026

This LIVE podcast recording took place at Tanya Taylor’s new boutique in Greenwich, CT amongst a live audience of our industry friends and fans of Tanya and Amy. Tanya Taylor is a New York–based mom of two, Founder and Creative Director of her namesake womenswear brand. The brand was born from a brushstroke, a belief, and a bold idea: that clothing should be both joyful and approachable, without compromise. Her work has been worn by a wide range of influential women, including Michelle Obama, Gigi Hadid, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and Kristen Wiig.

Amy Guzzi is a mom of two, fashion stylist and influencer based in CT. She's the founder of "The Stylist Effect" and her latest venture is Lewellyn, a line of handmade Italian shirts inspired by her family's love of timeless luxury.

The threadlines between these women were clear from the jump; both starting their fashion careers in their 20’s in NYC, what it takes to be successful in the fashion industry as well as the content world, career pivots, city to the suburbs moves, tying their name to the brands, and ultimately what it takes to continue to evolve in business in more complex seasons of life in work and motherhood.

    Jan 27 2026

Amy Liu is Founder and CEO of best-selling sensitive skin-friendly beauty brand Tower 28. After graduating from the University of California San Diego, Amy got her MBA in marketing and entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California. She led a successful 20+ year career as a beauty executive, building some of the fastest-growing prestige brands including Smashbox, Kate Somerville, and Josie Maran Cosmetics. But as a longtime eczema sufferer, she couldn’t enjoy the best part of working in beauty: trying out all the products! She saw this challenge as an opportunity, and so in 2019, Amy launched Tower 28: a beauty company designed to be a safe space for sensitive skin. Tower 28’s award-winning SOS skincare line is the first to earn seals of approval from the National Psoriasis Foundation, National Rosacea Society, and National Eczema Association— a testament to its commitment to skin-safe, effective formulations. It’s also the only beauty brand to 100% adhere to the National Eczema Association’s Ingredient Guidelines across all skincare and color products, ensuring the entire line is free of every known skin irritant.
