  • Tamworth (A) Review and Boston United (H) Preview - Turgid United put in lacklustre performance in defeat to Tamworth - Season 25/26, Episode 39
    Mar 20 2026

It seems this season that when United lose a game, it's on the back of a turgid performance - and this one was no different, as part-timers Tamworth ran-out deserved winners at The Lamb Ground last weekend.

The Blues barely turned up against the Lambs and while it wasn't quite a slaughter, it needs to act as a wake-up call as they look to try and secure third place and enter the play-offs in good form.

We look back on the 2-1 loss in Staffordshire, before looking ahead to a game at Brunton Park against a rejuvinated Boston United side - one of the real form teams in the divison right now.
