  • Why God’s Promises Feel Out of Reach (The Back to Egypt Mindset)
    Mar 4 2026

Are you truly walking in the promises of God, or just....stuck?

Many Christians love God, trust the Bible, and yet still feel discouraged or uncertain about God’s promises for their lives.

In this episode, we explore what Scripture reveals about why believers struggle to step fully into God’s promises and how faith—or fear—can shape our spiritual journey.

Drawing lessons from Israel’s wilderness experience under Moses, we examine the “back-to-Egypt” mentality that kept God’s people wandering for 40 years instead of walking boldly into the Promised Land.

We’ll unpack the story of the spies sent into Canaan, contrasting fear-driven doubt with the faith-filled confidence of Caleb and Joshua. You’ll discover:

    -Why doubt delays spiritual breakthrough

    -How fear distorts God’s promises

-What it means to mentally leave “Egypt” behind

-How to walk confidently in God’s assurance today

-Why community and godly leadership matter in your faith journey

-We also reflect on the “precious and very great promises” found in 2 Peter 1 and how embracing your identity in Christ shifts you from defeat to victory.

If you’ve ever wondered why God’s promises feel distant—or why faith feels harder than it should—we believe this message is for you!

  • Facing Your Giants | Faith Over Fear
    Feb 25 2026

In a world filled with stress, fear, and uncertainty, many believers are searching for real hope. In this episode of The Clark Report, we'll unpack one of the most familiar—and misunderstood—stories in Scripture: David and Goliath.

This isn’t a children’s story. It’s a timeless blueprint for overcoming fear, discouragement, and overwhelming circumstances through faith in God.

Drawing from 1 Samuel 17 and reinforced by Romans 15:4, this episode reveals five stones of remembrance that can help you face the “giants” in your own life—whether it’s anxiety, financial pressure, health challenges, or family conflict.

In this episode, you’ll learn how to:

✔ Turn away from discouraging voices that try to derail your calling

✔ Remember past victories God has already brought you through

✔ Use the gifts God has uniquely placed in your hands

✔ Fight your battles for the glory of God—not personal recognition

✔ Trust that the battle belongs to the Lord, no matter how big the giant looks

David didn’t win because of strength, size, or skill—but because of faith. And through Jesus, the ultimate victory over sin and death has already been won, giving us hope for today and tomorrow.

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward, this episode will encourage you to stand firm, remember God’s faithfulness, and step into your battles with confidence.

👉 Listen now and discover how to face your giants with faith, courage, and hope.

Why does Christian faith endure—especially in the face of suffering and injustice?

In honor of Black History Month, this episode of The Clark Report explores how Christian faith has sustained hope across generations, even in the most difficult chapters of American history. We’re joined by Dr. Walter Strickland II—pastor, theologian, and seminary professor—for a rich conversation on faith, resilience, and the gospel.
