  • The Menopause Queen Episode 16 - Self Sabotage, Limiting Beliefs & Trying not to just Gallop thorugh the year
    Mar 14 2026

The Menopause Queen Podcast – Episode 16

What if the biggest obstacles in our lives are not the ones outside of us…
but the ones we quietly carry within?

In this episode of The Menopause Queen, I explore the subtle ways limiting beliefs and self-sabotage can shape our choices, our energy, and the stories we tell ourselves about what is possible.

We also step into the symbolism of the Chinese Year of the Horse.

It’s easy to imagine the horse galloping freely through the year — wild, powerful, unstoppable.

But horses are not solitary creatures.

They are deeply attuned beings who live in herds, communicating through an incredibly subtle language of presence, energy, and truth.

    A horse senses everything.
    Your breath.
    Your tension.
    Your authenticity.

They respond not to words, but to alignment.

And perhaps there is a lesson here for this year.

True freedom is not about running away from ourselves.
It is about standing in truth.

    It requires presence.
    Honesty.
    Clarity.

Because like horses, life responds to the energy we bring.

    In this episode we explore:

✨ how limiting beliefs quietly shape our lives
✨ the patterns of self-sabotage that often appear in midlife transitions
✨ what the wisdom of the horse can teach us about truth, presence and integrity

A conversation about awareness, courage, and the quiet power of becoming more honest with ourselves.

🎧 Episode 16 is now available.

  • The Menopause Queen Episode 15 - the Modern Witch
    Feb 21 2026

There was a time when lighting a candle felt “woo woo.”
When pulling an oracle card felt strange.
When speaking about energy, intuition, cycles or ritual felt like stepping outside the norm.

    And yet… our grandmothers prayed.
    Our ancestors marked the moon.
They baked bread with intention, blessed the fields, whispered wishes into the wind.

What we now call “woo woo” was once simply life.

In this video, I speak about how ritual is no longer something reserved for special occasions or secret circles. It is becoming beautifully normal again. Practical. Grounded. Embodied.

    Ritual can be:
    – Five quiet minutes before the house wakes up.
    – Lighting a candle before you open your laptop.
    – Pulling a card at the new moon.
    – Anointing your face with oil before bed.
    – Stepping outside and noticing the sky.

    Not dramatic.
    Not complicated.
    Not performative.

    Just intentional.

We are remembering that the sacred and the practical were never meant to be separated.
That spirituality doesn’t need to be loud to be powerful.

That daily devotion can live inside ordinary moments.

When ritual becomes part of your rhythm — each day, each week, each cycle — life softens.
    You slow down.
    You listen.
    You respond instead of react.

    This isn’t about escaping reality.
It’s about inhabiting it more fully.

The mystical is no longer on the fringes.
    It is in your kitchen.
    Your morning walk.
    Your breath.

And perhaps the most powerful shift of all is this:

  • The Menopause Queen Episode 14 - Brain Fug, Anxiety, Fear & Hope at the end of the Tunnel
    Jan 31 2026

Menopause – The fog, the fears… and the magic beyond

    The Be A Queen approach

Menopause often feels like entering a fog.
    An in-between space.

There is the mental fog that comes unexpectedly.
    Words slipping away.
    Focus feeling fragile.
A sense of not functioning “as you used to.”

There can also be anxiety, unease,
sometimes fears with no clear reason,
as if something inside suddenly starts questioning everything.

    And yet…
what you are experiencing is not a breakdown.
    It is a reorganisation.

In the Be A Queen approach, menopause is not seen as an ending,
    but as an initiatory passage.
A moment where thoughts become louder,
where the mind tries to regain control,
where old reference points no longer work.

Yes, many things are linked to thoughts.
    They speed up.
    They amplify.
They create stories that can feel bigger than reality.

But what is rarely said — and deeply important to remember —
is this: the brain reorganises itself.

After menopause, new neural pathways form.
New ways of thinking, sensing and deciding emerge.
    Less driven by performance.
More guided by clarity, intuition and depth.

    The magic does not disappear.
    It transforms.

This passage invites you to let go of the version of yourself
that had to prove, push, hold everything together.
And to welcome a Queen who is more grounded,
    more sovereign,
    more aligned.

Menopause is not the end of your light.

It is the moment when it stops flickering for others
and begins to shine for you.

This is my approach and within Be A Queen, we walk this path together with one deep knowing: there is hope,
there is softness to reclaim, and beyond the fog, there is a new form of power waiting.

    A calm power.
    A lucid power.
    A quietly magical one.
