Matt Henry got Pathum Nissanka on the first ball, and Sri Lanka crawled to just 20 runs in the powerplay, which is their worst T20 World Cup start ever, ICC Cricket. Rachin Ravindra ripped through with 4/27 Business StandardTimes Of Sports, including two stumpings.

    They folded for 107/8. New Zealand posted 168/7 after Santner (47*) and McConchie (31*) smashed 84 runs for the seventh wicket. Three losses, zero points in the Super Eights.

Their innings featured big contributions, including a blistering half-century from captain Dasun Shanaka. Oman’s chase struggled, with their batting lineup collapsing under pressure from disciplined Sri Lankan bowling. Sri Lanka dominated almost every phase of this game to take firm control of the fixture.
