  • Livin' the Life with Brent Burns
    Mar 16 2026

This week, we're revisiting one of our favorite episodes from the early days of the podcast! Originally recorded in October 2020, Andy sits down with Brent Burns—singer, songwriter, humorist, and Gulf Coast legend—in one of our very first video episodes.

Tune in for this hilarious encore including the wild story of a $10,000 horse named Groupie Doll who won the Breeders' Cup twice and sold for over $3 million, how Brent's song ended up on Paul Harvey's show (the one time Harvey ever played music), why getting shot in Vietnam — and spending three years in the hospital — can eventually become funny, the lesson about Donald Duck that kept Andy humble early in his career, and of course… a couple of songs!

  • Manners Are Money
    Mar 9 2026

On this week's episode of The Professional Noticer, Andy shares a powerful perspective on a subject many people debate, but few truly understand—manners.

Tune in to hear Andy explain why manners are not about outdated rules or trying to impress people, but about something much simpler: awareness of others. Listen as he shares stories about raising his sons. In a world where courtesy has become rare, Andy explains why people who consistently demonstrate awareness stand out, earn trust, and often receive greater opportunities in business and in life.

  • Midnight at the Roller Rink: My Friendship with Elvis, with T.G. Sheppard
    Mar 3 2026

On March 3, 1956, "Heartbreak Hotel" cracked Billboard's Top 10 for the first time, and Elvis Presley began reshaping the music world forever. In honor of that date, we're revisiting one of our favorite conversations — with a man who knew Elvis not as a legend, but as a friend.

In this Encore Episode, Andy sits down with Country Music Legend T.G. Sheppard — a teenager who had run away from home and was literally eating out of garbage cans in Memphis when a chance encounter outside a roller rink at midnight changed the entire trajectory of his life. What followed was a 16-year friendship, seven years living at Graceland, and a front-row seat to one of the greatest careers in entertainment history.

Tune in to hear how a homeless 15-year-old ended up playing football on roller skates with the King of Rock and Roll, the advice Elvis gave him that fueled 21 #1 hits, and the moment Elvis finally figured out that "that Sheppard guy on the radio" was actually his old friend Bill Browder. Plus, the most embarrassing moment of T.G.'s career — courtesy of a kid with a water pistol and a white linen suit.

I have always hated having to write my goals. I am sure if I did write something down it was just to placate the person asking me to do it and more than likely it was made up. My mind has never been able to understand stand goals, but it does understand responsibilty. Thank you! Now instead of setting a goal to say lose weight I can now tell myself that I am responsible for losing weight and I can start at baby step responsibilities for say one pound a month. When I can prove I can handle that responsibility I can give myself more responsibility. Not sure that makes sense to anyone else but it does for me and as I work on the concept I am sure I will be able to share my experience with others. Thank you for a new perspective this one gives me hope.

My family, my brothers have been involved in drug or alcohol problems. I've been sober almost 3 years now. Being sober is the best high. Drunk on life is the life to live.

This hit home for me.

Andy started as a stand-up comedian. That ability to capture your attention and entertain you is obvious. But Andy isn’t potato chips and chocolate bars. There is real substance in every program. The guy has learned to look at life from a different perspective. You know that friend that points out something so obvious you should have noticed it but for some reason you didn’t? That’s Andy! Business, life, family! He covers just about everything. Tune it. It’s worth every minute.

Always entertaining and insightful!
