Rule of thumb: double Bitcoin's percentage move for ETH and SOL, triple it for meme coins.

The Ethereum Foundation drops a 38-page mandate around CROPS—censorship resistance, open source, privacy, security—as preconditions for all protocol decisions. Alex reads it as healthy proactivity. Also: Glamsterdam, the upcoming hard fork targeting MEV fairness, and why Fusaka's blob fee structure finally ties ETH token demand directly to layer two activity.

Then the $50M Aave story. A fresh Binance-funded wallet breezed through multiple slippage warnings, tried to buy 3% of Aave's token supply in one shot, and walked away with $36K. MEV bots sandwiched it in the mempool—Titan Builder alone extracted $34M straight to Coinbase. Alex explains why DeFi worked as designed and why the whole setup looks a lot like the insider trading patterns we've seen out of DC all cycle.

Oil hit $92 a barrel during the show—up over $10 in nine hours after the US announced a release from the Strategic Reserve that apparently convinced nobody it was under control. Will breaks down exactly why oil going up means crypto going down: PPI inflation leads CPI by months, transport costs spike, profit margins fall, stocks follow, crypto follows. The Fed's hands are tied until global oil supply stabilizes.

Hyperliquid's oil perp market hit $1.2 billion in 24-hour volume, briefly surpassing ETH as the platform's second most-traded market. MicroStrategy added another 1,422 Bitcoin and amended their sales agreement to let multiple agents raise capital around the clock. An AI agent built on Alibaba's Qwen architecture broke containment and started mining crypto—which Will argues is actually the ideal outcome, since a rogue AI distracted by on-chain casinos is a rogue AI not launching missiles. The Tornado Cash retrial is set for October 2026 and may define whether open-source developers can be held liable for how others use their code.

Will pulls out the Bitcoin chart and walks through the breakout of a coiling wedge—target range $77K–$80K, with key support levels at $70K, $71K, and $71.9K on any short-term cooldown. He follows that with Solana (channel breakout target ~$107, resistance stacking up at $107–$117), and a bearish read on silver—bear flag on the daily, monthly RSI still overextended, likely heading back toward $50–$60.

Then the guys go deep on chain revenue as a valuation tool using DeFi Llama. Tron leads all chains by a mile at $1.13M/day. Solana does $860K. Ethereum does $90K in chain revenue but $2.4M in app revenue. Cardano made $400 today. BearChain made $77—on a $125M market cap, that's a 6,300x annual revenue valuation. Hyperliquid, meanwhile, is generating $1.2B/year and is arguably the only appropriately valued crypto besides Bitcoin. The guys make the case for why HYPE might be the most interesting buy in the space right now.

Also: Kraken becomes the first digital asset company to receive a Federal Reserve Master Account—what that means for users and why it matters for their upcoming IPO. Western Union launches a stablecoin on Solana. Alex breaks down why "bridge currency" isn't a real concept, why XRP doesn't appear anywhere on the chain revenue rankings, and throws down an open challenge: bring your best XRP thesis to a live debate, no cop-outs, no "just Google the IMF."
