  • Don’t Let Them Look Down on Your Youth | Wyatt Joins the Podcast!
    Mar 27 2026
    🎙️ Show Notes

This week on the Undaunted Pursuit Podcast, Aaron is joined by a very special guest—his firstborn son, Wyatt—for a real, honest, and encouraging conversation about faith, youth, and purpose.

Together, they dive into what it means to follow Jesus as a young person in today’s world, unpacking the powerful truth found in 1 Timothy 4:12—not letting anyone look down on you because of your youth, but instead stepping boldly into your calling.

Wyatt shares his perspective on youth groups, the hunger this generation has for deeper truth, and the importance of real discipleship—not just surface-level faith. They also talk about struggles with reading the Bible, staying consistent, and how God still works even when you don’t feel like you’re “getting it.”

    • Youth who feel overlooked or underestimated
    • Parents called to pour into their kids spiritually
    • Anyone passionate about raising up the next generation for Christ

    💬 Key Takeaways:

    • This generation is hungry for Jesus—are we responding?
    • Discipleship starts at home, but doesn’t end there
    • Even when you don’t understand Scripture, God is still working in you
    • Surround yourself with godly influences that push you closer to Christ

This is a shorter episode—but it’s packed with truth, heart, and a powerful reminder: 👉 You were created for a purpose, no matter your age.

  • Faith Through the Eyes of a 13-Year-Old
    Mar 4 2026

This week on the Undaunted Pursuit Podcast, Aaron is joined by a very special guest — his second-born son, Austin.

No scripts. No polish. Just real conversation.

Together, they dive into what it actually looks like to follow Jesus through the eyes of a 13-year-old. From identity struggles and peer pressure to youth group experiences and daily habits of prayer, this episode gives an honest glimpse into teenage faith in today’s world.

    They talk about:

    • Finding your identity in Christ — not hobbies, labels, or popularity

    • The pressure teens feel to “fit in”

    • Why inviting friends to youth group can feel risky

    • The importance of surrounding yourself with strong Christian influences

    • What youth groups are getting right (and what makes them engaging)

    • Practical ways teens can pursue Jesus — even without support at home

Austin shares what draws him to youth group, how he builds his relationship with Christ daily, and why being yourself matters more than being accepted.

    This episode is for:

    • Teens navigating identity and pressure

    • Parents raising teenagers

    • Youth leaders wanting insight from a teen perspective

    • Anyone who needs the reminder: Your identity is found in Christ alone.

As Isaiah 43 reminds us — He has called you by name. You are His.

This is bold faith. This is real talk. This is Undaunted Pursuit.

  • Stop Waiting for “Perfect” Your Yes Can’t Wait
    Feb 11 2026

Aaron and Ashley are back—new setup, new mics, and a whole lot of real talk as they finish Ecclesiastes 11–12. Between laughs about the learning curve (and a few soundboard buttons that might become permanent), the conversation turns into a powerful wrap-up of Solomon’s “end of the matter” message.

In this episode, you’ll hear why faith can’t be postponed until conditions feel perfect—and why waiting can quietly become disobedience. Aaron and Ashley unpack the call to sow seed morning and night, to stop making excuses, and to live with urgency because we’re not guaranteed tomorrow.

They also dig into what it means to enjoy the life God gave you without losing the plot: don’t chase the world’s version of “success,” don’t drift into “spiritual retirement,” and don’t forget your responsibility to pass wisdom to the next generation. Ecclesiastes closes with a clear, sobering, hope-filled anchor: fear God, keep His commandments, and remember that nothing is hidden from Him.

    In this episode:
    • Aaron & Ashley’s return + upgraded recording setup (and the fun that comes with it)

    • Ecclesiastes 11: stop waiting for perfect conditions to act

    • “We’re seed planters—God brings the harvest”

    • Why excuses keep people from saying “yes” to Jesus today

    • Ecclesiastes 12: aging, legacy, and refusing “spiritual retirement”

    • “Have your yes on the table” (even when it stretches you)

    • The danger of endless information: weigh everything by God’s Word

    • The “words of the wise” as goads—loving discomfort that moves you forward

    • The final conclusion of Ecclesiastes: awe-filled reverence, obedience, and accountability

    Key takeaway:

Don’t coast. Don’t wait. Don’t retire spiritually. Plant the seed, trust God with the outcome, and live the life you’ve been given to glorify Him.
