• DO NOT BE CONSUMED BY WORRIES
    Apr 1 2026

In the profound wisdom of Jesus, we are invited to let go of our anxieties about the material aspects of life. He taught us not to be consumed by worries over what we will eat or drink, nor to fret about the clothes that adorn our bodies. For surely life itself, with its sacred breath and spirit, holds far greater significance than mere substance, and the intricate vessel of our being is more precious than any garment. Yet, how often do our prayers, even those offered with sincere hearts, centre on earthly desires: a home, a partner, a vehicle or simply food? This focus, even in its most earnest form, stands in stark contrast to the liberating truth Christ unveiled.

  • MERELY REPEATING STATEMENTS OF TRUTH WILL NOT HELP
    Mar 10 2026

There is a big difference between repeating words and embodying the reality behind them. Simply repeating Truth statements without conviction or spiritual presence can feel empty or ineffective. In the New Testament, Jesus’ words carried power because, according to John 5, the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son to have life in himself. The implication is that the life behind the words mattered as much as the words themselves. Truth must be realized internally before it can be transmitted to others. When someone speaks from a lived experience of God, their words carry spiritual authority and authenticity. When the same words are repeated without that inner state, they may sound correct but lack impact.

  • TRUTH REVEALS ITSELF AS YOU AND AS ME
    Mar 3 2026

Jesus embodies truth as outlined in John 18:37. Pilate said to Jesus, "You are a king, then!" Jesus answered, "You are right in saying I am a king. In fact, for this reason I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me." Jesus went on to say: My kingdom doesn't consist of what you see around you. If it did, my followers would fight so that I wouldn't be handed over to the Jews. But I am not that kind of king, not the world's kind of king.

  • WE WERE SENT TO SHOW FORTH THE GLORY OF GOD
    Feb 24 2026

Can anyone in-tombed the Spirit Christ? 2 Corinthians tells us: Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. Romans explains: You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness.

  • BEFORE ABRAMHAM WAS I AM
    Feb 17 2026

The Jews questioned Jesus about having seen Abraham. Jesus’ response was "I tell you the truth," before Abraham was born, I am!" The point here is not to debate whether Jesus is speaking or the spirit of God speaking through him, as in Matthew 10:20 (for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you). The point is to showthat we are part of one body. Our body has many parts — limbs, organs, and cells, but no matter how many parts we can name, we are still one body. It's the same with Christ. In the words of Jeremiah 1:5, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born, I set you apart.

  • ARRIVING AT THAT SPIRITUAL PLACE
    Feb 4 2026

We can arrive at that place when we know God as He is. Habakkuk poses this question, O Lord, are you not from everlasting? My God, my Holy One, we will not die. O Lord, you have appointed them to execute judgment; O Rock, you have ordained them to punish. Your eyes are too pure to look on evil; you cannot tolerate wrong. Why then do you tolerate the treacherous?

So, Moses thought, "I will go over and see this strange sight — why the bush does not burn up." When the Lord saw that hehad gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, "Moses! Moses!" And Moses said, "Here I am." "Do not come any closer," God said. b"Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground." Then he said, "I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob."
