  • 78: From Good Girl to Badass: The Identity Shift That Changed Everything
    Mar 25 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

In this episode, I’m sharing something deeply personal—and honestly, a little vulnerable.

I’m officially renaming this podcast from Unshakeable Confidence to The Badass Leader. And this isn’t just a rebrand. It’s an identity shift.

For years, I believed confidence was the goal. That if I achieved enough, proved enough, pushed hard enough… I would finally feel like the powerful woman everyone else already saw me as.

But the truth is—confidence isn’t the destination. It’s the byproduct.

What I’ve come to understand, through years of deep inner work, is this:
Real transformation doesn’t come from more achievement. It comes from shifting how you see yourself—and more importantly, how you feel about yourself in your body.

In this episode, I take you behind the scenes of my own journey:

    • From growing up in a small town in China…
    • To building a high-powered corporate career, leading a half-billion-dollar business…
    • To hitting burnout (more than once)…
    • To realizing that no level of external success could close the gap between how I looked on the outside and how I felt on the inside

I talk about what I now call Good Girl conditioning—the invisible rules so many of us have been living by:

    Be perfect.
    Be agreeable.
    Don’t be too much.
    Don’t disappoint.
    Don’t take up space.

    These patterns helped me succeed.
But they also kept me stuck, exhausted, and disconnected from who I really am.

And at some point, I had to face the truth:

The version of me that got me here…
could not take me where I truly wanted to go.

So I began the process of unlearning.
    Of peeling back the layers.
Of retiring my inner Good Girl—and reconnecting with something much deeper.

    And recently… something shifted.

For the first time, I didn’t just know I was powerful.

    I felt it.

That’s what being a “badass” means to me now.
Not performance. Not force. Not proving.

    But being fully yourself.

    Grounded.
    Clear.
    Self-trusting.
    Alive.

    In this episode, I’ll share:

    • Why confidence alone is not enough
    • The real reason high-achieving women feel “heavy” and exhausted
    • How Good Girl conditioning silently runs your life
    • What it actually takes to create an identity shift
    • And what becoming a “Badass Leader” truly means (hint: it’s not what you think)

This new chapter of the podcast is about helping you close that gap—
between who the world sees you as… and who you feel yourself to be.

Because you don’t need more proof.
    You don’t need more achievements.

You just need to come home to yourself.

And I’m here to show you how.

Want to go from Good Girl to Badass Leader—calm, clear, and deeply self-trusting?

I offer a free 60-minute consultation to help you get clear on where you are, where you want to go, and what’s holding you back.

From there, we’ll explore what working together could look like.

  • 77: Success Without Suffering: 5 Lessons from Alysa Liu’s Olympic Gold
    Mar 4 2026

    Send a text

Can you create extraordinary success without suffering for it?

For most ambitious women, success has always come with pressure, sacrifice, and relentless pushing. We were taught that if we want to achieve something meaningful, we must grind harder, endure more, and prove ourselves constantly.

But what if that belief is simply not true?

In this episode, I share the powerful story of Olympic figure skater Alysa Liu, the first American woman in 24 years to win Olympic gold in women’s figure skating. What moved me most wasn’t just her performance on the ice—it was the way she chose to pursue success.

At just 16 years old, Alysa walked away from the sport she had trained for her entire life because it was costing her too much—her happiness, her freedom, and her sense of self. Two years later, she returned to skating, but this time on her own terms.

And what happened next was extraordinary.

Her story beautifully illustrates something I believe deeply:
Sustainable success doesn’t come from pressure. It comes from alignment, joy, and inner freedom.

In this episode, I break down five powerful lessons from her journey and reflect on how they mirror my own path—from leaving an unfulfilling corporate career and an unhealthy marriage, to rediscovering who I truly am and building a life and business that feel deeply meaningful.

If you’ve ever felt exhausted by success, disconnected from yourself, or pressured to achieve in ways that don’t feel true to you, this conversation will resonate deeply.

Because the kind of success that truly fulfills you is not the one that demands you suffer.

It’s the one you create on your own terms.

  • 76: How to Celebrate Yourself: My 47th Birthday Reflection
    Feb 25 2026

    Send a text

This episode is a special one — my birthday edition.

As I turned 47, I found myself reflecting not just on how I celebrate, but what I’m actually celebrating. For years, my birthdays were about doing something fun — snowboarding, traveling, being in nature. And I still love that. But this year, something deeper shifted.

Instead of only celebrating with activities, I chose to celebrate the woman I’ve become.

In this episode, I share a simple yet powerful exercise that moved me deeply: I asked eight close friends to reflect back the strengths and qualities they see in me. What I received wasn’t just kind words — it was a mirror, a reminder, and a moment of real embodiment.

We talk about why high achievers often move too quickly past their growth, how identity is strengthened through reflection, and why celebrating yourself is not indulgent — it’s essential for building grounded confidence.

If you’ve been working hard on your growth but rarely pause to acknowledge it, this episode is an invitation to slow down and let your own evolution land.

    In this episode, I share:

    • The difference between activity-based celebration and identity-based celebration
    • Why building a supportive tribe later in life is absolutely possible
    • How asking for reflection can strengthen your self-trust and confidence
    • What it feels like to truly let appreciation land in your body
    • A simple practice you can try this week to celebrate who you are becoming

If this resonates, I invite you to try the same exercise for yourself. Ask someone you trust what they see in you — and allow their words to remind you of your own strength.

And if you’d like support on your journey toward deeper confidence, self-trust, and alignment, I’d love to help. You can book a free consultation through the link in the show notes, and we’ll explore where you are, where you want to go, and what’s possible for you next.

Sending you lots of love — and thank you for celebrating this moment with me.
