• #22: "What Are Your Thoughts on Regret-Based Decision Making?"
    Mar 18 2026

Callie brought an incredible prompt from an incredible Substack post her dad sent her. Eric Ingram wrote a piece called "Regret-Based Decision Making: Designing a Life You Can Live With."

A little excerpt, “Over the last few years, especially as I’ve gotten into my mid-thirties, I’ve started changing the variables I use to make decisions. Or more accurately, I’ve changed the weights of those variables….I call the framework regret-based decision making. It’s simple in concept. When faced with a meaningful choice, I try to project myself forward and ask: which option is least likely to haunt me?”

Like most topics, you can go many different ways in how this feels to you. Some may have a huge ah-ha moment, some may get their feathers ruffled because they don’t feel they can operate from this theory.

What about you? How does this land?

    Key Takeaways:

    • Are we living into the societal way of buying the house, working until retirement, and then retiring?
    • Do we feel there are more options than the ones we have right in front of us?
    • As a business owner, is there something you want to do, but are scared to?

  • #21: “What's the Vision Worth?”
    Mar 11 2026

This submission was a good one…well, they all are. But this one brought two totally different viewpoints from us.

"What price is it worth to you to start and grow your business? Expenses, marketing, branding, and tools you’ll need. What price is it worth for the vision for the thing you want to do and get out into the world? So many of us love our idea and our offer, and yet we’re struggling on a shoestring budget, which isn’t working out. We’re DIYing more than we have time to do. I feel this as someone in the marketing world and as a business owner myself. What are your thoughts on this?"

First up, Amanda took the conversation in the direction of which aspects of business actually matter and why you’re investing in all the things… because you truly need it or because you think that’s what's next.

Callie comes in with you, being worth it to keep going. The value of the process and the lessons you learn, and where they take you.

    Key Takeaways:

    • Your growth doesn’t have to look like the playbook of others
    • What is the goal behind hiring out different aspects of your biz
    • If it’s on your heart to grow it…grow it.

We’d love to know where your thoughts went after you heard the question!

  • #20: "I'm Not Sure Which Direction To Try To Do All This!"
    Mar 4 2026

Todays episode is brought to you by some who both had feedback on last week's episode and a question on the growth of their gym! Working full-time while growing a side business and determining the best route to grow…

First wanted to reply about the last podcast y’all did. About money and god, loved it. Reminds me of one of the stories in the Bible when god gave 3 guys some kind of token, and only one was awarded because he went out and multiplied it! The other two hid it, or I think wasted it.

Along with that, I want to refer y’all to follow , Autumn Miles, you can find her on IG and FB, her podcast is great too. She teaches the Bible but it’s awesome the way she does. I don’t believe god wants us poor, or struggling. I’m sure he wants us to multiply our “golds” to live well and to share.

“I’m 3-5 yrs, but do I have a biz without clients anymore? Was an in-person and online personal trainer/ coach, also do muscle massage (short answer), and this past year have taken over a small gym that I’m working to grow.

Biz question: I took over the gym, half the equipment belongs to the owner of the building, I pay rent to him, I bring in new equipment, and am working on growing the gym. I’m assuming it’s Mine! I want to work on changing the name and eventually getting a bigger facility. Not sure which direction to try to do all this, start to employ coaches and staff, all while still working a regular full-time job. Not enough revenue coming in yet to cover us all! Thanks, ladies!!”

The first part of this “answer” was Callie sharing about the importance of giving people a story to both follow and get behind. Amanda then comes in with literally 1 million questions.

    Key Takeaways:

    • Give people a story to follow, as we all love a story
    • How you want to show up as an owner will determine your growth strategy
    • Being brave enough to put yourself out there is pretty dang amazing

This one was fun because there really is no answer. There are so many ways to go about growth, and we really appreciate the fact that she submitted this question to get some feedback!

  • #19: "My Business Is Growing, And I Hate My Life Now"
    Feb 18 2026

We’re back this week with an anonymous submission, and as you all know, there’s not an actual answer, but there are a lot of thoughts and questions…

“So, I started my service-based business 3 years ago, and it's objectively successful. Revenue is up, clients love us, and from the outside, it looks like I made it, but I'm exhausted, anxious all the time, and weirdly resentful of the business I worked so hard to build.

I'm working more hours than ever, I can't shut my brain off, and I feel guilty when I'm not working. I've tried hiring help, but I still feel like everything depends on me. Part of me wants to scale bigger, part of me wants to burn it down, and another part of me feels ungrateful for even thinking that way. What am I actually supposed to do here?”

First, we dive into the emotional aspects of this question with Callie’s thoughts and a recent conversation with her son while watching Pole to Pole. Then, Amanda comes in with the practical side, with shared experience and one question to ask yourself.

    Key Takeaways:

    • Your choices have gotten you to where you are
    • Have you paused to look around where you are and whether it’s still where you want to go?
    • There are more options, but are they too uncomfortable to consider?

Have you ever found yourself in this situation? What thoughts went through your mind?

  • #18: “Can It Be Purposeful and Make Money?”
    Feb 11 2026

Well, friends, we’re continuing the conversation from Episode 17 because 20 minutes after we ended that episode, Callie had a huge realization about a story she’s been telling herself.

We’d tell you, but that would just spoil the episode :) Callie does (once again) share some thoughts she has around money, living on purpose, and her journey in her religion, and how that has created this whole story we talk about.

    Key Takeaways:

    • Can something be two things at once? Joyful and hard? Purposeful and profitable?
    • Get curious about the stories you tell yourself to see where they’re actually coming from
    • People are going to have their opinions…that’s okay.

Callie, thank you again for being so incredibly open to sharing - can’t imagine it not being what someone needed to hear ❤️❤️

And as Callie mentioned, if you do have some insights on this topic, we'd love to talk about it, so please reach out!

  • #17: “It’s Time To Ask For Help...But I'm Afraid They'll Tell Me I’m Doing It Wrong.”
    Feb 4 2026

Amanda here…I spoke with Callie about the growth of her business, and, well, you could say she keeps putting off answering me. So, (with her permission) I ask it in today's episode.

Hang with me as I ask the question, because I made it up as I went and wanted to choose my words wisely, as what they’ve grown is freaking incredible, and they don’t give themselves enough credit.

And, I want to personally thank her for being very real, raw, and vulnerable in this conversation and allowing me to dig in!

    Key Takeaways:

    • In order to truly grow, you have to ask yourself the tough questions
    • Grow in a way that works for you, not because that may be what other people think you should do
    • What does failure mean to you? And when you answer that question, ask yourself if it’s true or just a story you’re telling yourself

Thank you so much for listening to this one, and we hope it helps you take some time to really reflect on the stories you’re telling yourself. Are they true or not?

  • #16: Feedback…”Could My Feedback Be Hurtful or Helpful?"
    Jan 29 2026

It's not about being right or wrong.

This week we had a submission around a topic that has felt necessary to talk about (in Amanda's eyes!), so here goes:

"I find myself being hesitant to provide feedback. This could be to a direct report, a colleague, a client, a prospect, or a higher up.

Oftentimes I’m afraid of being direct because in my mind it might hurt feelings or that it will be offensive to the recipient, so I end up sugar coating it, tap dancing around the real issue, or just not responding at all….maybe I’m getting in my own way here and that my feedback could actually be very helpful and positive…

What is the best way to provide accurate feedback so that everyone on both sides feels good about it?"

This was interesting as we went two different ways and then back around, like normal!

    Key Takeaways:

    • As an expert, we have to be careful not to come across as “I’m telling you what to do.”
    • Figure out our internal issues before going into a conversation is important
    • Everyone is really trying their best

What are your thoughts on feedback? Do you have an experience where this was tricky, or you thought it would be tricky and it wasn’t? OR, do you have some feedback for us on this topic of feedback?!

  • #15: "Networking For Introverts…Help!"
    Jan 21 2026

    Networking.

We know there’s a gray area, but a lot of times it seems like it’s black and white. You either like it or not.

This week's question was, “Networking for introverts or for those whose work drains all of their social energy. Is one’s network really as powerful as biz influencers say? How to make the small connections when you’re drained out.”

If you haven’t noticed, Callie is an introvert, and Amanda is an extrovert. Which was fun to talk about these answers from both perspectives.

    Key Takeaways:

    • More is not always better because those close relationships are so powerful
    • For those who need to recharge more often, find the time to do it…even just 10 minutes
    • Confidence is a big part of this…you have to be confident to ask for what you need!

We’d love to hear your thoughts on this topic and if you’re coming from the lens of an extrovert or introvert!
