I can not recommend this podcast enough. No matter if you are a new reader or know the series inside and out this is a fun ride every episode. I don't know how Gus has the willpower not to drop spoilers given some of Ali's wild theories as she goes through the new reader's journey but you can tell they both love doing this podcast. The audio quality is top notch and you can tell much care went into each episode published (as someone that listens to podcast at 2x, audio quality makes a big difference).

Gus and Ali are the funniest WOT podcasters in the world I love them. Ali is extremely perceptive and paranoid and Gus does a great job dangling the carrot. The running bits are great, the spoiler siren rules, and as always, the wheel wheels as the wheel wheel wheel wheels.

listened to the entire series review and it's awesome how spot on Ali predicted how the show would go and gave educated reasons for why. i also enjoyed the lessons on screenwriting and how it differs from regular storytelling. this is what people who have complaints about the show need to be pointed to.

I am on a reread of the WOT series by Robert Jordan. Listening to the podcast of Wheel Takes makes me feel like I am part of a reading club, reading it for the fist time. I enjoy the takes, the jokes, the predictions and it reminds me what it felt like reading it for the first time decades ago.
