This series of 8-29 min audio workouts was really great for motivating myself to get back on an exercise regimen and learning new things. There were certain stretches and bodyweight moves that I didn't know about before. I also learned more about utilization of inclines and intervals on the treadmill.

From the workout title and workout length, it can sometimes be hard to know whether it'll be an indoor treadmill/outdoor run/bodyweight day, so I would advise reading the "Book Details" description before starting each one just so you know what to expect. This is also meant to be completed one exercise per day for 20 consecutive days, so if you skip a few days or move exercises around, that is up to you.

Please note that I completed this workout program from the Audible App, so I can only speak to that user experience. At the end of each workout is an advertisement for using the Aaptiv App for more workouts, which I just incorporated into my cool-down process, like how "Audible hopes you've enjoyed this program" concludes each Audible audio book file.

I loved the background music! I know this won't work for everyone, but I like to exercise alone and need to listen to something that distracts and focuses my mind, so this seemed to do the trick. This was my first completed workout program, so I cannot grant this 5 stars off the bat. I'll have to see how this compares to other programs.

Good Everyday Workouts to get Running Again

why o why is the voice barely audible ... what is the point of producing something like this ... either tone down the background music or make her use her voice ... if it is OK otherwise I can't say, because I can't really understand anything while walking outside (I think your supposed to listen to it while walking/running outside) unless I turn it much louder which again is pointless due to the music

hard to listen to ...

This whole workout series starts great. It gets you motivated and pumped up, but as it goes on it starts slacking off. Eventually it cheats on you - the time to cool down after run is not always part of the workout, so you cannot plan on how long it will really be. The stretches in the end are so quick it doesn't give you time to do it properly. And eventually, after you run outside for max 2 minutes at a time, it tells you to run 15 minutes straight. I was not ready for that and it left me feeling disappointed, that I couldn't keep up, even though I know, it wasn't my fault...

Overall not so good

I’m in decent shape. Just not a runner, but building up to the run was really helpful for me and I have repeated the run with the last episode because I’m afraid if I do it by myself just listen to music. But I’ll have to venture that way soon unless there are other Running podcasts or playlists others can suggest to me. thanks Coach!

Very helpful for this non-runner

Not sure why this was offered, but the timing was great! My husband decided reluctantly to do this with me as a 6AM morning 'habit.' He is recovering from a triple hernia surgery 6 weeks ago. We are in our mid 60s and in OK shape, but have gotten to the stage in life where the expression 'use it or lose it' is apt. So these workouts are surprisingly perfect for us both; short enough to do in 1/2 hour or less, intense in parts, gentle in parts, and variety for each day that keeps us motivated to 'show up' together for the next one.The trainer, Jamie, keeps it fun and inspiring.
