At the End of the World

Jason and his friends just wanted to spend a week at the lake house. Time to relax, hang out, and catch up on old times. Then the System arrived. It only took a few hours for their world to become a real-life roleplaying game; trading some downtime for the need to learn new skills and powers while trying to defend their new home, their families, and survive. It has been six months since the System changed the lives of Jason and his friends. They made new allies, built a home in a new world, and rescued friends and family. Now, they are heading out into the new world to see what has survived. Will they find more of humanity in the wilderness, and will they find people they can trust? They have learned more about this new world, but they will discover there is much they still do not know.

Over the last year, the System has continued to remake the world. Jason and his friends have discovered more details about a threat to all of humanity and have a quest to stop it. They continually need to get stronger and do their part to protect their chunk of the world. While searching for clues, they will revisit allies and make new ones. They will face some hard choices as they encounter people out for themselves, but there will be new friends they can help along the way.

It has been a year and a half of living with the System. Jason and his friends are not just surviving, but are preparing for the future. Thanks to a new quest, they are establishing a kingdom in the former southwest portion of the United States. They are trying to protect humanity wherever possible and build a kingdom to defend their part of the world.
