Becoming the Paladin Series

After a mysterious elven princess transports ex-marine Cal Newhart to the mystical world of Telos, he'll have to rely on his wits and newfound strength to protect her and her two beautiful companions against the conquering Vrag army.

I was only 27 and I already felt like my life was over. Then, I fell asleep in statistics class and all hell broke loose. I've been summoned to a world completely unlike my own. Elves and monster girls roam the streets. Complicating matters, a powerful race of demon called the Vrag have invaded Telos, and somehow I've been put in charge of protecting two princesses from all manner of mayhem.

Just a few short weeks ago, I was Cal Newhart. An ex-marine struggling to adjust to the realities of civilian life. Now, I am the Paladin. A mythical warrior of vaunted strength and ability, able to summon armor and weapons in the blink of an eye. An elven princess summoned me to the magical continent of Telos. A goddess has charged me with defeating the demonic vrag from across the sea.

My elf princess has disappeared, torn away by a magic of her own making. It's up to me to find her. Fortunately, I have help: a posh griffin and a mysterious, blue-skinned girl who might just hold the key to victory. Far away in the Southern reaches of Telos, I'll confront a religious death-cult and uncover the secrets of my past.

It's not every day you find out you're the illegitimate son of a deity, but I'm making the best of it. The Vrag have been backed into a corner. Three kingdoms stand behind me, each led by one of my beautiful companions. My goals are simple: regain the throne, restore the Sun God and drive the Vrag into the sea. Easy enough, right?
