Dead Texas Series

A plague has been released in Austin. It’s highly infectious, incredibly lethal, and turns the recently deceased into fast-moving zombies with a taste for human flesh. Rookie officer Lacy Sparks is thrust into the action when she is assigned to a federal strike force tasked with preventing the outbreak from becoming a full blown pandemic. It’s a race against the clock as she and her team struggles to survive against the growing forces of the undead.

Officer Sparks and her team barely survived their first encounters with the undead. As they travel upriver toward the relative safety of the sparsely populated West, new threats emerge as do new allies. Day Zero has ended, but the battle for survival is just beginning.

In the wake of the violent confrontation with Elijah and his militia, plans are made to evacuate to the west. As most of the group ventures out in search of supplies for the journey, Sparks sets out on her own to ensure that their biggest human threat has indeed been eliminated.

So close, yet so far away. Still reeling from Elijah’s brutal retaliation, Sparks and the other survivors continue their ill-fated journey west. As the reach the town of Junction, the group finds that their troubles are far from over.
