Dogs with a Purpose

Some dogs were born to lend a helping hand (or paw!). Zeus, a chocolate lab puppy, is one of them. With his courage, smarts, and strength his purpose seems clear: he'll become a water rescue dog! But becoming a water rescue dog is no easy task. Under the watchful eye of dog trainer Marco and his young son, Kimo, Zeus must learn how to track down lost hikers and pets, attempt daring ocean rescues, and even jump out of helicopters.

Some dogs were born to lend a helping hand (or paw!). Ripley, a border collie puppy, is one of them. He's smart, fast, and brave. Ben thinks he'll be a perfect fit for his fire station! To prove himself to the Station Five team, Ripley must learn to run headfirst into danger, assist on daring rescues, and keep victims safe until help arrives. But there are other ways to save lives. In the aftermath of a devastating house fire, he meets a young girl named Samantha. She shows him that sometimes, rescuing somebody means helping them face their fears.

With her natural herding instincts and big attitude, Mateo thinks she'll be the perfect new addition to his family's ranch! But Mateo's family isn't convinced. They wanted a big, tough livestock guardian dog, not this tiny creature! She's more likely to become lunch for the coyotes than to help run the ranch. And it doesn't matter anyway; Mateo's father, Werner, has decided to sell the ranch.
