Liz invites a famous big game hunter home to dinner to meet her husband, whom she claims is a big game hunter, too.

The comfortable front bedroom of the comfortable suburban home of the Cugats doesn’t look very comfortable this morning. Articles of clothing are strewn across the floor and across the bed. George hurriedly ploughs through the debris getting dressed while Liz tries to cram all of their things into three suitcases.

Liz and George Cugat are the famous couple who live together and like it!

Adolescent Sally Hopkins can't get a date for the party, so Liz volunteers husband George. As we look in on the Coopers this morning, something new has been added. There is a moving van in front of the house next door, but of course the new neighbors don’t interest Liz Cooper in the least....

A swami at the Gypsy Tea Room predicts that one of Liz's old flames will reappear to menace her marriage.

As we look in on lazy little Sheridan Falls, the hometown of the Coopers, we find many signs that summer’s over. The leaves are turning red, the Coopers are turning their faces toward home after their summer vacation, and Liz is hoping all her friends will turn green when they see how she has turned brown....

Liz and Iris are determined to learn how to play baseball. It’s the bank's day out on Sunday, and the employees of the bank have been divided in to baseball teams. George is captain of one of them and Mt Atturbury is captain of the other one. However, they won’t be playing this year, as a new rule means that you can’t play unless your wife plays. Liz and Iris take it upon themselves to ring the bank and put themselves forward, even though they know very little about baseball!

Liz fakes a cold to fool George's mother, but the plan backfires and the whole neighborhood thinks the Coopers are expecting.

As we look in on 321 Bundy Drive, Sheridan Falls, it's late afternoon. Liz is just arriving home from her club meeting and is met at the door by George. Liz has had a very educational day at the club today. They had a lecture on older people and how they can be kept happy and useful, but as Liz has no hobbies, the lecturer pointed out that she's on a slippery slope to being lonely and unhappy when she gets older. So she's going to get a hobby!

My Favorite Husband starred Lucille Ball and Richard Denning as Liz and George Cooper (Liz and George Cugat in early episodes). The couple lived at 321 Bundy Drive in the fictitious city of Sheridan Falls and were billed as two people who live together and like it.
