Stone Walls Trilogy

Aeloria, the Crown Princess of Teporsa, has led a privileged and sheltered life inside the stone walls of her parents' castle. She is destined to be Queen one day, a title for which she has never aspired. Aeloria dreams of a life of freedom, to do as she pleases. She does not wish to enter into an arranged marriage with a prince from a neighboring kingdom whom she has never met. Once she actually meets Prince Siegfried of the Lawekans, she is even more adamant that she does not wish to marry him.

Escaping from her bedchamber after the meeting, she ventures to a beach where she meets a man who sweeps her off her feet. Could it be love at first sight? She soon realizes this beautiful man is the most notorious pirate captain in the land, Bran Doran of The Poisoned Rose. She also realizes she does not mind one iota.

Unfortunately, one night Aeloria's very proper, nosy younger sister follows her and observes a rendezvous with the handsome pirate. Always a girl for strict observance of royal protocol, she informs their parents of the tryst.

King Heinrich and Queen Ivette confront their daughter about her nightly affair and she informs her parents once again that she does not wish to marry the prince, in fact, she WILL not. Princess Aeloria is locked in her room to ensure she cannot escape her fate as the prince's bride. Her pirate had asked her to meet him that night and go away with him. How can she achieve that while locked away?

Fortunately Bran found a hidden entrance to her chambers and arrives to take her from the life she abhors. She finds she was born for life at sea and also for the life of a pirate. It's everything she ever imagined.
