The Forgotten Empire

The Confederation consists of the seven oldest races in known space. They control a vast section of the galaxy. All races in that part of the galaxy are subjects of the Confederation and forced to obey the Confederation’s laws. The Human Empire is well aware of the Confederation and has been careful not to intrude upon Confederation space. However, now the Confederation has decided the Human Empire has grown too large and needs to be brought under control of the seven races.

The war between the seven alien races of the Confederation and Earth heats up as the two come into direct conflict over the former Human Empire. The people or Earth are determined to free it, and the Confederation is determined to keep it under their strict control. Fleets meet in combat as the fate of worlds is decided. Earth is hopelessly outmatched as the Confederation controls thousands of inhabited planets.

The war between the Human Empire and the Confederation has reached a turning point as the Humans are now poised to attack the Confederation in their own area of space. Few Humans have ever entered the Confederation and returned alive. As the Confederation fractures and new alliances emerge, who will continue to fight the Humans? When tensions grow in the Confederation, who will light the first fuse?

The Confederation has decided that Earth represents a significant danger to their future plans of Empire. A massive fleet is dispatched to destroy the Solar System and every Human on its planets, moons, and asteroids. If the Solar System falls, the fledging Human Empire will have no chance of survival. Admiral Reynolds is tasked with defending the Solar System and preserving as many Human lives as possible. He knows he faces a nearly impossible task as he does not have the ships needed to stop the coming attack.
