The Forgotten Ship

Drake steals artifacts so they can benefit all of mankind. They belong in a museum, after all, not hoarded by a select few in their private vaults. It's a dangerous life, but someone has to do it. Until he learns of a map to the location of a lost mega-freighter once belonging to the ancient royal family. Drake, like so many before him, can't resist the siren's call. After all, it's the find of a lifetime.

Drake and Yukiko have been dropped on the far side of the galaxy with no way back home. The ancient travel network created by the mysterious Those Who Came Before needed a supernova to power it for the trip out and it doesn’t look like there is likely to be another one anytime soon.

Drake and Yukiko have been preparing the floating city of Atlantis for three million refugees, but every time they solve one problem, another pops up. The Jontihem are unsure of how to respond, and then there is the ancient alien facility on the sea floor under Atlantis. Why did Those Who Came Before build it? What was its purpose? Why is it still active? Those secrets, and many more, are waiting to be revealed. If, of course, Drake can keep The Authority from killing him and taking it all over. Or can the alien structure strike back at those who wish it harm?

The Authority has been driven off, but Drake and Yukiko still have a lot of problems in search of solutions. And then there is the deepening mystery of Those Who Came Before. Evidence is starting to suggest that they are not what everyone here thought. They are likely not the ones who built the alien travel network that brought them here and trapped them.

With their main enemy among the Jontihem in disarray, Drake and Yukiko must act against the city of Kiros before their foes get their feet back underneath them. It's time to turn them against one another. Only before they can get started, there are rumbles from below the city of Atlantis. It seems their explorations have awoken something.
