There are those who lust for power. There are those who crave the crown and will do anything to get it, including murder. The kingdoms are scared, as the crown of power is at stake, and men will kill to get it. If there is hope at all, it is in being better at intrigue than those who make it their life.

When friends are pitted against friends where lives are on the line, there is no such thing as loyalty -- or is there? Caving to the demands of evil tyrants only gives them more power, but when crossing them means the death of loved ones, the decision is easy. How can our heroes do what is right when it is others who will pay the price?

Matthew is against odds he cannot beat and evil he did not know existed. His only hope to save his kingdom he must open the vault and access power he never wished to use, as too much power can corrupt. Even with the help, he won't be able to save his kingdom or the kingdoms around without helping to break an unbreakable curse.
