When Giselle’s fiancés actions don’t align with a man who is pending to marry the woman he loves, Giselle bides her time finding comfort in her inner circle, her sister-in-law, brother, and her bestie, Jameson. Giselle is a boss baddie with a spitfire attitude, so it’s no wonder that she’s best friends with resident bad boy with an attitude Jameson Davenport. Their personalities balance each other out. One tender moment finds them in a precarious position and it’s UP from there. Jameson plays no games about or with Giselle when it comes to his feelings, and Giselle, though heartbroken, is settled in her decisions, until a revelation hits that seems like it will rip it all to shreds. The narrators brought these characters to life, and the emotions, banter, and intimacy were next level satisfaction. Jameson is BOOK BAE status and the author even blessed us with appearances from a few RR World baes. This was a masterfully written friends to lovers romance, that proved when these two destined souls collided, it was indeed a beautiful surprise.
