Ok, so below I left critiques… but after reading this one… I look forward to Havoc’s story.
This was a deep, dark, yet heart warming, and sexy book. Enjoyed it.
From earlier as I read;-)
I know I’m going to enjoy this book… BUT mid-way through… WHY didn’t Lotus tell Reaper what she heard Chop say!!! Makes NO sense…And… TWO people are brutal shot… so where are the police, guards on the rooms, or even the “crew” that work for Pharaoh? Ok… weird.. somehow the author gives them both flashbacks … but how is it that neither of them remember meeting each other when they were under such awful circumstances? Huh?How is it that they wake up and still no police and no “crew” from Pharaoh’s army… too odd
Ok… cool to see Havoc in action to help Reaper! But tell me.. how does a ruthless well trained assassin NOT teach his woman how to use a gun??

Dark and yet really good

I really enjoyed almost all of this book. it was read by 2 of my favorite narrators. Reaper was a great character but like most protagonists made mistakes and I loved the consistency in his dominance. Lotus can kick rocks and is a horrible person and hopefully she gets killed before she puts or gets her family killed. I have absolutely never disliked a character more lately. The end of the story does not redeem her. I will be reading the next 1 soon.
