I wasn't supposed to lust after my brother's two best friends. I certainly wasn’t supposed to lust over their brother, who’s 10 years older.
I wasn’t supposed to break up with my boyfriend of two years at my birthday party. I definitely wasn’t supposed to lose my virginity that same night or do it all over again the next morning. I wasn’t supposed to move in with the three men that drive me insane—while also making my panties wet—after I’m kicked out of my apartment. And I really shouldn’t be falling for them.
What can I say? I’m a sucker for blue eyes and crooked smiles.
This book is a stand-alone contemporary RH romance. There is strong language and sexual content. Intended for listeners 18+.

Now audio was decent, I love this male narrator (he has such a yummy deep voice!) but I think this was the first time I had listened to the female narrator. She was good, not my favorite but I would definitely check out more books narrated by her. I felt her emotions and thought she was good with the different performances, I think it was a combo of her voice/intonations and the writing that made me not like Violet a whole lot in like 25% of the book. It's more a personal preference I think than their abilities so I wouldn't ignore their future work. I just think this felt very juvenile and yes we started with them in high school but they still felt that way as they got older.
I did like the brothers, even though they were numskulls and FAIL at communicating. I did wish Grayson had a more big intervention and people called him out on his drinking. It felt like it was brushed over. This one also hit really close to home, with losing my dad to cancer. I was crying with Sophie's scenes but it was awesome with how everything ended on this standalone romance. This one felt like a rollercoaster, whipped around a lot and like I mentioned disjointed between scenes/years/etc. I think the author has grown tremendously since publishing this one, so that might be it. I thought the guys kept giving us confused moments, but so did Violet if being honest haha. Just wish there was a little more communication. The group didnt get together til the very end so I felt jipped out of the HEA since it was over right as it started.
I was giving this a 3-3.5 stars. I wish the others in the series were on audio because I want to see more from this universe.
Felt too juvenile and disjointed to me
