What?!? I loved this spicy little novella. It was so good! A perfect, quick and spicy read.

Oh, god, I felt for Adi in Chapter 1. 😳 I was simultaneously cringing and laughing when Rhys was looking over she shoulder at her computer 😂🤣. The internal panicking was REAL!

I loved the tension between Rhys and Adi. Even though this was a short book, it was well paced and had decent build up. I would have LOVED to read a full length novel of this story.

🎧 Evie Rose and Shane East were so cute together 🥺 You know what? I didn’t think the British accent was necessarily attractive… until I heard Shane East’s accents. Holy goodness, this man’s voice! Especially when he’s playing a possessive mafia boss?!? 🫠

TLDR: Short and spicy grumpy, mafia boss romance with slight br33ding kink.

This is absolutely short and beautiful work! The spice is absolutely amazing and the characters perfect! Adi and Rhys are brought together quickly and love fast and hard! The audio is absolutely perfect also! Shane and Evelyn knock it out of the park!

The plot line is absurd, but so what? Ignore reality and just enjoy the ride. You’ll get grumpy-sunshine, soft daddy dom vibes, praise kink/good girl, breeding kink, funny inner monologue, and sweet love story to boot. He’s a billionaire mafia boss but there’s zero violence or mafia business. Nothing dark in the plot or the romance. It’s all sweetness and spice. The narration is perfection.

Both Adi and Rhys pine for each other and they have no idea. When they finally get together, oh boy! All kinds of delicious steamy goodness packs a big punch in this short novella! This is my first book by Evie Rose and it will not be my last!

Evelyn Rose and Shane East are absolutely amazing in this audiobook. It is truly NOT to be missed!

I just love Evie Rose’s books especially now that even the shorter ones are audio. Every book or series of hers I’ve read is fantastic and she is definitely my favorite author. I love the duet narration on her books which is a delight to listen to whether I’m cooking or cleaning or just sitting and resting my eyes (my favorite way to listen!). The humor is also so enjoyable. Please never retire!
