Beauty's Punishment is the second book in Anne Rice's Sleeping Beauty trilogy, Let’s just say that Anne goes where some fear to tread. This book covers Beauty journey down to the village where he life and that of the other slaves are once again push to the limits. Yes, I fully understand that some will not have liked some aspects of this book, but you need to put your mindset away before starting this is fiction and not what every would be seen in RL. If you are unable to just let, go of what we take as normal then maybe these books are not for you. I read these books when Anne first published them and gave enjoyed rereading them. And now listening to them

I wasn’t sure if I really wanted to continue this series, the first book was awesome but when it was done I had felt like the story line was weak and wasn’t sure how it would progress.
This book was good and the details are wonderful. The storyline has progressed and I am happy with it I have to finish the series now but I will be taking a little break before the next book.
There are two narrators one male one female. It was kind of weird at first but you get used to it and it helps with the change of tone/perspective.
