the narrator seemed to care about what she was reading, which made it easy to get caught up in the story. Parts of it were really sexy, but it was more like a bunch of vignettes than an overarching narrative. I really liked the different voices. there were a lot of different characters (too many?) and it really helped to keep track of them all.
