After walking away from her toxic boyfriend, Wren finds herself lonely and wondering if good men only exist in fiction. But at a Valentine's Day masquerade ball, she spots them—the three men who meet every week at the coffee shop she works at. The ones who've always looked at her like she's the most interesting thing on the whole planet. She figures they won't recognize her, but there's no way they couldn't—not when they all feel pulled to her in a way they never have before. While she's planning on enjoying herself at the ball before going home to her empty bed, these three men have different plans. They each steal a dance with her, and by the end of the night, they're all left to face the one truth they've been avoiding: Not a single one of them can resist her. And now, they may not have to.

Blissful Masquerade is the first book in the Ruthless Desires Series. It's a dark MMMF polyamorous/why choose romance novella that contains a lot of heat, some kink, swearing, and violence.

One of the worst female narrators I've heard. Better than IA though. I did like the story. A little outrageous but that's why I read so much, to escape.

"Blissful Masquerade" was good at being an introduction to a cast of possible interesting characters that find each other and as more books crop up in the series we get to know more about them. If you like the "found family" aspect of RHs then this is for you. You can tell the men are into some shady things but it isn't really revealed in this title. I enjoyed the performance of the voice actors and I liked that we had multiple POVs; I just really think duet style should have been the way to go.

3.5 Starz - worthy of continuing on

The audio is terrible, but the book itself is good. Definitely read without the audio
