A Mafia Princess

Sacrificed to maintain the fragile peace between her family and his, only Aurora Bianchi can sate Max De Luca's desires and keep his darkest depravities under control. But now his father wants complete control of The Syndicate… and she's an obstacle to their plans.

A pawn her husband is forced to sacrifice.

Her Protectors

Enzo and his crew are brought in to dispose of the casualties of war, brutally slaughtered and left for dead. However, the bodies aren't nameless thugs—they're Syndicate royalty… and they're not all dead. He and his crew find themselves drawn into a mafia coup, and there's only one side they would ever consider taking.

Enzo, Sinclair, Nico, and Benedict will raze The Syndicate to the ground to avenge Aurora, but first, they must save her.

Aurora de Luca is dead… Rory Bianchi will rise.

This is a polyamorous (MMFMM) mafia romance where the FMC will never be asked to choose between her leading men. Being romance, there is, of course, an HEA, however, books one and two in this series are a duet, so you're going to have to work for the HEA.

Story was good and made even better by the narrators. They both did a great job. Was only one small part where the plot stalled a little, but it picked back up nicely. Will go straight for the next

All around good listen

It’s been a while since I’ve truly fell in love with a series quite like this. Right off the bat from chapter 10, I already knew this book and the remaining installments were going to land right in my god-tier series collection. This goes beyond five stars. I fell in love with every single main character and for a book so short, Bennett succeeded in leaving me satisfied yet wanting for more; like the best/worst kind of edging. Safe to say I will be promptly reading the rest of this series happily

This audiobook was hauntingly beautiful and I cannot wait to go onto the next

The audiobook is narrated in dual by Chloe Ryan & Walker Williams.

Aurora “Rory” Bianchi is the kind of heroine I live for: scarred, broken, and yet impossible to crush. Her marriage to Max De Luca is one of the darkest setups I’ve read in a mafia romance.
The Bastards—Enzo, Sinclair, Nico, and Benny—each bring something different to her healing and her vengeance. Enzo’s protectiveness, Sinclair’s quiet but very demanding care, Nico and Benny’s love and loyalty.

⚠️ Domestic violence / Torture / PTSD / Murder / Gore / Violence

This story isn’t soft. It’s brutal, violent, layered with betrayal—but it’s also full of devotion, found family, and the kind of love that makes even monsters want to protect something pure.
And we must protect Benny at all costs 💁🏼‍♀️

Bloody, brutal, and hot enough to burn my fingertips while turning the pages.

Redundant, slow and overall terrible! The storyline left much to be desired and way too wordy!

This book wasn’t remotely plausible. A broken beaten carved up woman thinking of sex while still in excruciating pain. That’s preposterous. As a woman, this whole thing was laughable. I couldn’t finish the book. I stopped halfway through. Give me something I can believe. Also the depiction of steamy scenes was just audible porn. If you’ve heard one sex scene you’ve heard this one too. The only thing good was the narration. The narrators did a good job.

Typical, Predictable
