“Thank you, Alfred. That is very sweet of you.”
“Please don’t mention it.”
“And Alfred?”
“Yeah?”
“Could you also assist me with something when you are coming over with the car?”
“Sure. Anything.”
“Anything?”
“Yeah. What would you like me to assist you with?”
She was smiling to herself now. “I wanted to get some items from the boutique. I don’t know if I could send you a list of them.”
“A boutique?”
“Yeah.”
“What items would that be?”
“Just some things a woman needs to put on every now and then.”
“Okay, you mean like clothes?”
“Yeah. Clothes. And cosmetics.”
“I see. And you think I can do justice in shopping for them for you?”
“Yeah, why not? I would send you the measurements and the sizes. Any boutique would be able to get them for you once you give them those measurements and sizes.”
“I see. Okay, no problem then. Just send them to me.”
She smiled. “That is very sweet of you, Alfred.”
