They call me a slut. Maybe I am. Sometimes I do things I despise. Sometimes men take without asking.

But I have a musical gift, only a year left of high school, and a plan. With one obstacle.

Emeric Marceaux doesn’t just take. He seizes my will power and bangs it like a dark note. When he commands me to play, I want to give him everything. I kneel for his punishments, tremble for his touch, and risk it all for our stolen moments.

He’s my obsession, my master, my music.

And my teacher.

Hot teacher who falls for a student, yes please! Its real, It’s heartbreaking, it’s love, it’s passion, it’s such an amazing story that you never want to end. I will be listening to it again even though I just finished it. The narrators for Emeric and Ivory were utterly PERFECT. I can’t think of anyone who would be better. Sooooooo good. I give this book 100 stars and all the recommendations. If you like taboo this is for you. It is nuclear hot and yet such a beautiful tale of two lovers that the world says shouldn’t be together. Pam Godwin! Wow! This is the first audiobook that I have from you and I am happy to say that I wasn’t disappointed! This book has many triggers but the strength and resilience of Ivy and her ability to overcome life’s pitfalls demonstrates that what does not kill us makes us stronger! Great Story!

Although we understand that the trust in those who teach our children are not to be betrayed, it's probably safe to reach that there's at least one teacher we've crushed on and maybe have gone to far in our daydreams....anything to get us through the worst class we've had to take. Some of us may have just gone all the way...I'm not judging because....well...anyhow,

This story grapples with the forbidden relationship of teacher and student, while streamlining the fact that the main female lead, Ivory, had a wealth of misfortune to rival her genuis in the art of music. And Emeric...oh Emeric, our main male lead, a musical visionary and morally gray hero ran was fortunate enough to run headfirst into his balance while teaching for favors.

Throughout the story there is a recognition and support that both of these tragic people need. They are victims of their circumstances but the love of learning, teaching and playing the piano rises to the surface and locks them into each other. As the storyline unfolds, the intrigue follows them down the same path to togetherness and highly sexual experiences. Ivory gets delivered from her past and present while Emeric holds on to her, his future.

Emeric sets up his muse as ode to love and faithfulness while sharing with her his wealth, adoration and extensive knowledge of music. He lays the world at her feel at complements her amazing talent but upgrading her life in a multidimensional way.

There are some extreme scenes that are questionable such as his penchant for BDSM and her lack of knowledge of consensual sex. It borders on the fact that he could be taking advantage but the way the book is written, there is a clear expression of love, trust and protection in which they both share with each other.

Overall, I rather enjoyed the book but felt the end was clipped. Definitely room for a longer epilogue or chapter.

Pam Godwin has once again blown me away! This book brought out all of my emotions. I like that there is much more to this story than a simple teacher student romance. While the journey wasn't always pretty Pam slowly put my heart back together. I can without a doubt say this is one of my favorite books. I loved the honesty the two main characters had with each other even when the truth was ugly.

The narrators were perfect and I hope to find more books that pair them together.

Raw and beautiful

I was hooked from the beginning with fear and worry and very intrigued. It was very realistic in many aspects. I enjoyed it from beginning to end.

Not for the light hearted… but amazing
