Still a smexy listen, but a tad less than the rest of the series. Mason and Katrina being BFFs since age 14 meant the excitement of new and dangerous sparks with an alpha was tempered by a somewhat sweeter and angsty story of two clueless people ignoring their hots for each other. On the other hand, once the gloves (and other clothes) come off, the nooky is rough, raunchy and respectfully domineering in the same delicious style as the rest of the series.

This one also has themes of self abuse and assault that could be triggering. I found them to be handled well and balanced against Mason the honorable playboy. I love me some alpha heroes, so long as the alpha in the bedroom is 100% consensual- and this series delivers.
