Great story & wonderful characters. I really enjoyed the fact that this book is appropriately titled and it was more about the chase. That being said, although this story has an HEA, it’s left open enough for supporting characters to have their own story.
The narration was good, and I love Rodney’s voice but I’m still having trouble distinguishing between his male & female characters.
If you’re looking for a Dom-Sub storyline you might be disappointed, there was more talk than action in this book. For me, I was totally fine with how this story played out and I expect this is only the beginning.
I recommend this book!

Wow, this book was intense. I really enjoyed this book as it has the heat as well as the story line. The only thing that was hard
for me to like this book was that the narrator did both the male and female roles. I would have liked to have the female done by another narrator as sometimes I was a bit confused to whose part of the story I was listening to whether is be Selena or Rafael's. This was the first time I have read a story for this author and will not be my last.

This one will blow your mind! It has a mixture of everything that will keep your attention until the last word and wishing for more! It was so well written and kept giving. Rodney Falcon is a fabulous narrator! His voice along will suck you right into with what is taking place in the story and you will think you are right there with the characters wanting to take part. I loved it! Where is the ten star button?

Jax Hart pens another great story with interesting storylines that grabbed my attention right from the start and held it straight to the end. The characters are complex and well developed. Selina came to New York with dreams of making it big as a singer, but that has not happened yet and seven years later she is making her money walking dogs. One day she runs into a man on the sidewalk and spills her latte all over him. She looks up to apologize to see the fuming face of one of the biggest players in the city, Rafael is infamous for his arrogant and man whoring ways and Selina does not want to give him the time of day. But Rafael has other plans and puts those plans in action to find out who she is and where she lives. The chemistry between the two was electric, he is an alpha Dom but she is not submissive and he is determined to make her one, make her his. I loved how their story played out, the cat and mouse chase, the twists with her roommate and how Selina and Rafe get caught up in mafia business. There is never a dull moment in this book, there is plenty of drama, angst, some suspenseful moments, emotional ones and some hot romance. Jax Hart, thank you for another great story!

I listened to the Audible edition, Rodney Falcon is a terrific narrator and voice performer. He brings these characters and their story to life, giving them their voices and personality. You could hear how much heart he puts into his work as he projects the characters emotions and passion into his performance. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen🎧

This story had me from the beginning. The h was head strong and feisty. The H was controlling and dominant. I have always liked Jax's books and this one is no different. It was a great listen. I have listened to quite a few books narrated by Rodney Falcon lately and as usual he did an amazing job and I really enjoy listening to his voice.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
