There’s a thin line between love and hate...and it cuts right through the middle of their office.

Bad boys? They run right over good girls like Georgina Keller. But after a confidence-shattering breakup, she’s determined not to let anyone at her new workplace push her around - least of all the brooding creative director, a “bad boy of publishing” who’s made it clear she’s enemy number one.

Sebastian Quinn's taste for fast cars, late nights, and beautiful women may have gotten him to the top of a leading New York magazine, but the reputation that made him is suddenly threatening to end his career.

Georgina can help Modern Man shed its bad reputation, but in order to do that, she’ll have to start at the top - and no amount of rakish charm or inconvenient attraction will distract her.

Because if Sebastian gets her right where he wants her, it means she’s going down.

From USA Today best-selling author Jessica Hawkins comes a witty workplace romance stand-alone.

Sebastian and Georgina’s PR battle of the sexes pits the bad boy of publishing at a popular men’s magazine against a no nonsense fixer whose fierce business persona is about to turn his life upside down. Both characters seem to live dual lives as Sebastian feels he has to reflect the hype he creates to sell magazines and Georgina shies away from every confrontation in her personal life. Sharing an office and revamping the magazine to make it more inclusive to the opposite sex means the fireworks between Sebastian and Georgina are explosive. There are loads of spirited disagreements, snarky comments, and witty banter spearheaded by Sebastian’s best friend Justin whose constant interference and colorful commentary is endearing. There’s a fine line between creative competition and slow burn physical awareness as Sebastian and Georgette’s office battle leads to blurred lines and inner battles with personal demons both characters must navigate. I was totally enamored with Georgette’s Great Dane Bruno who adds so much warmth to the story. I really equally enamored with the heartwarming vocal performances of Andi Arndt and Sebastian York who are chef’s kiss perfection in my opinion!
